| . I enjoyed working with Bonnie when I directed "State Fair" for the Charlotte Players. She took the music that I had cut and created exciting and interesting dance sequences that made the musical numbers come alive. I would highly recommend her to be your selected choreographer for your production!" Raymond E. Durkee, Director Charlotte Performing Arts Center |

| About Bonnie Originally from Indianapolis, Bonnie’s early dance training included Ballet, Tap, and Tumbling later adding Jazz and Polynesian, and eventually Ballroom Dancing. She began dancing as a specialty act with the Jimmy Bennett Show (supper club band and show) at age 11, and was the assistant choreographer for her high school productions of “Lil Abner” and “110 Degrees in the Shade”. (Choreography has been her passion ever since.) She attended a half day of classes during her Senior year of high school, while attending dance and music classes at Butler University’s Jordan School of Music, as well as performing, choreographing and teaching dance locally. In 1982, she moved to Florida, and joined the Suncoast Academy of Dance in St. Petersburg Fl, buying the studio in 1989, was owner / director for an additional 11 years. Major studio events included the opening of the Suncoast (Now Tropicana) Dome, The World’s Greatest Tap Assemblage I and II, and the Junior Olympics Opening Ceremonies. After selling the St Pete Studio, She focused on performing and developing her tribute shows, and on teaching Adult and Professional students. She moved to Bradenton Fl in 2001, and expanded her That’s Dancing – Dance Ed for Adults program, which is still thriving. The program teaches adults in Broadway Style Tap and Jazz, plus Polynesian Dancing, and does local performances, as well as regional and national competition. These dancers hold multiple National Titles in Tap, Musical Theatre and Jazz dance (Adult Competitive Division).
